Energy-Saving Technology

Thanks to an innovative two-tank heating system and energy-saving mode, the new Flavia C400 model uses 62% less energy than its predecessor. More importantly, independent testing confirms that the C400 and C200 models require significantly less energy than Flavia's single-cup office coffee competition, translating into both a cost savings and a greener planet.

Waste Reduction

Each Mars Drinks packet weighs just 0.8 oz -- less than half the weight of a soda cap. Furthermore, enroll in our packets-to-energy program, and the same truck that delivers your fresh product will pick up your spent packets. A waste-to-energy power plant down the road from our main warehouse takes these packets out of the waste stream by instead converting them to energy, through a "second-day recycling" process which is recognized by the Global Round Table on Climate Change as a step towards mitigating climate change. Furthermore, the rail itself is completely recyclable, and Flavia merchandisers are constructed out of 90% post-industrial waste.

Through the Brighter Tomorrow at Origin program, Mars Drinks works with farmers to help them utilize sustainable growing practices, improve the quality of their crop, and in turn earn a higher price.
