As a result, effective immediately the fuel surcharge is now $1.75 per invoice. The good news is that as soon as gas prices come back down, we will pass that savings along in reduced fuel surcharges, as we have done in the past.

For clarity, from now on we will use the Department of Energy’s published Petroleum Administration for Defense District (PADD) data for the East Coast – New England Region in calculating our average fuel cost. The PADD figures dated 2/28/11 peg regular gasoline for reformulated areas at $3.386/gallon, and diesel at $3.903/gallon, for an average of $3.644/gallon.
