Coffee Price Increase Notice
Beginning today, each invoice contains a notice of an upcoming coffee price increase to our customers, effective August 11th, 2014. Download the complete price increase memo.
Due to drought in Brazil and “coffee rust” affecting crops throughout Central America, rising coffee prices have been in the news throughout the first half of 2014. Major retailers such as Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks have already announced price increases, as have our suppliers.
This price increase to our customers of a penny or less per cup of coffee represents our first across-the-board coffee price increase in several years. All brands are included with the exception of Nespresso, Estate Select Pods, Douwe Egbert, and Lavazza cartridges. We appreciate your understanding.
