Variable Fuel Surcharge Now $2.25
As stated in our fuel surcharge policy, our fuel surcharge fluctuates along with our fleet’s fuel cost, calculated as an average of published gasoline and diesel prices in our region. Due to rising costs at the pump, effective immediately our per-invoice fuel surcharge has been revised to $2.25.
The most recent PADD Data for the New England region, dated 9/10/12, reports an average gas price of $3.922/gallon and an average diesel price of $4.208/gallon. The average of the two comes to $4.065, triggering our new rate.
When fuel prices drop, we will be happy to pass along the savings to our customers in the form of a reduced charge.
