We’re happy and thankful to report that Coffee Distributing Corp. continues to grow year after year, maintaining our position as the largest office coffee service provider in the New York metropolitan area. In an effort to adapt to the needs of our growing customer base, our latest move has been to add an additional warehouse shift. We are now operating 24-hours-a-day, five-days-per-week!
CDC Now Operates Around The Clock
Our morning shift starts at 4:30 AM. Loading and dispatching delivery trucks is the primary concern of this crew. Once the trucks have hit the road, the AM shift turns its attention to tidying up the warehouse, receiving product deliveries from suppliers, and rotating product for freshness.
Our evening packers report to work at 4:30 PM. All of the orders we’ve received over the course of the day are printed and packed, and lined up on pallets by route.

Our new “3rd shift” starts at 9:00 PM and works through the beginning of the next morning’s dispatch. Formerly part of our regular night time packing crew, this group now works separately, allowing for more efficient use of warehouse space. They clean out and pre-load the first wave of trucks destined to hit the road the following morning, receive our milk delivery from the dairy (around 2:00 AM!), and pack all of the refrigerated product (milk, yogurt, and fruit) just before dispatch.
